lobbying councillors

One of the most important things you can do to help us is to write or email your local councillors. Who you write to and what you say depends on where you live:

If you live in Milton
Your district councillors Hazel Smith and Richard Summerfield are strong supporters of the Campaign so there's little point in lobbying them. Instead you should write to Cllr Vicky Ford who is the "portfolio holder" responsible for the Park.
If you live in Barton
You currently have no district councillor so instead you should write to Cllr Vicky Ford .
If you live elsewhere in SCDC
Contact your local councillor(s) and ask them what they are doing to help save the Park. You can find the names and contact details of your local councillors on SCDC's web site.
If you live in Cambridge City
Contact your local councillor(s) and ask them what they are doing to help save the Park. Although the Park is run by SCDC it's used by a lot of City residents. Can they do anything to help? You can find the names and contact details of your local councillors on Cambridge City Council's web site. You might also want to write to Cllr Vicky Ford .
If you live elsewhere in Cambridgeshire
Contact your county councillor and ask them what they are doing to help save the Park. The County Council owns part of the park but pays nothing towards its running costs. Can the County do anything to help? You can find the names and contact details of your county councillors on Cambridgeshire County Council's web site. You might also want to write to Cllr Vicky Ford .
If you live elsewhere in the country
Then Cllr Vicky Ford is your obvious choice.

Whoever you write to then in addition to the points we've raised above tell them who you are, why you like the Park, how you use the Park, and why you want it stay open and free to use.

Please what you say to them and, if you get a reply, what they have to say for themselves.
